Good Questions. Honest Answers.
A little clarity before we begin…Taking the first step toward understanding your health can bring up a lot of questions. Whether you're new to functional wellness or you've been searching for answers for years, I want you to feel informed, comfortable, and confident about what working together looks like.
-
The Healing Edit is a personalized holistic wellness practice that brings together functional health insights, lifestyle guidance, and self-discovery.
I believe understanding your health involves looking at the bigger picture. Your nutrition, sleep, stress, digestion, hormones, daily habits, and even how you move through the world all contribute to your overall well-being.
My approach is not about adding more to your already full plate. It's about understanding what's there, identifying what deserves attention, and making intentional changes that support your body and your life.
-
At this time, The Healing Edit is a private-pay wellness practice and does not bill health insurance.
Many of the specialized functional tests used in my programs are not routinely covered by insurance. These tests can explore areas beyond conventional bloodwork, but they are not always medically necessary or appropriate for everyone.
The benefit of our approach is that testing is selected based on your individual health history, concerns, and goals rather than ordering everything simply because it's available.
Whenever appropriate, I also encourage you to work with your healthcare provider to explore conventional bloodwork that may be covered by your insurance.
-
Not at this time. All consultations are conducted virtually through private video appointments.
This allows us to connect from wherever you feel most comfortable, without the added time and stress of traveling to an office.
You'll still receive personalized attention, thoughtful guidance, and an opportunity to ask questions throughout our work together.
-
Not necessarily.
Functional testing can be one tool for exploring your health, but it isn't always the best first step.
We'll begin with your health history, symptoms, existing medical information, and personal goals. From there, we can discuss whether additional testing would provide useful information.
I don't believe in ordering tests simply for the sake of testing.
-
You're certainly not alone.
Lab results are one piece of a much larger picture. Your symptoms, lifestyle, medical history, and personal experiences matter too.
We'll review what has already been evaluated, consider whether anything important may have been overlooked, and identify appropriate next steps.
Normal results don't mean your experience should be dismissed. They also don't automatically mean that something hidden is wrong.
-
Absolutely not.
More isn't always better, and I don't believe in creating a supplement routine that feels like a second job.
My philosophy is to simplify where possible. We'll begin with foundational habits such as nutrition, sleep, movement, and stress support.
If supplements may be helpful, recommendations will be individualized and considered alongside your medications, health history, and other supplements.
-
I believe understanding yourself is just as important as understanding your health.
The science side explores your health history, laboratory information, nutrition, and lifestyle.
The soul side invites you to look inward. How do you respond to stress? Where does your energy go? What expectations are you carrying? Are you living in a way that feels authentic to you?
When appropriate, I may incorporate reflective tools such as Human Design, Enneagram, and other self-discovery practices.
These are optional tools for personal exploration, not medical or scientific diagnostic methods.
My goal is to help you build a stronger relationship with both your body and yourself.
-
Every person and every health journey is different.
Some people notice improvements in daily habits, energy, or general well-being relatively quickly. Others may need more time, additional evaluation, or support from other healthcare professionals.
There is no universal timeline, and I won't promise a particular outcome.
My focus is on helping you create realistic, sustainable changes rather than chasing quick fixes.
-
Absolutely.
Holistic wellness support can complement conventional medical care. I encourage open communication with your healthcare providers, especially when you're managing an existing condition or taking prescription medication.
I do not recommend stopping or changing prescribed medications without guidance from your prescribing clinician.
-
You don't need to figure that out on your own.
Each program offers a different level of investigation, guidance, and ongoing support.
During our discovery call, we'll discuss your goals, the information you already have, and how much support you're looking for. From there, we can decide together which experience makes the most sense.

Item descriptionThe Soul Edit is the self-discovery side of The Healing Edit. Through Human Design, Enneagram, and guided one-on-one exploration, we look at your natural tendencies, emotional patterns, motivations, boundaries, and the beliefs and expectations that may be shaping your life.
It's an opportunity to understand yourself beyond your physical health and reconnect with who you truly are.
The Soul Edit is included in our six-month Full Edit experience. It is not included in the Discovery Edit or Core Edit, but can be added to either program for an additional fee.
Because sometimes understanding your body is only half the story. The other half is understanding yourself.
